Valéria Lima Guimarães
Valéria Lima Guimarães is Professor at the School of Tourism and Hospitality of the Federal Fluminense University (UFF), Brazil. She holds a PhD in Comparative History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), where she was affiliated with the Sport History Laboratory. Her academic work bridges tourism, culture, sport, and leisure, fields in which she has published books and scholarly articles and supervised academic research. She also has international experience in sports volunteering, including initiatives related to women’s football.
